 1st OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL

Dear Club Presidents and Secretaries

In compliance with article VI section 2 of the by-laws of the Standard District Constitution (revised June 2024), I hereby issue the official Convention Call for the 53rd Convention of Lions District 105SE for the fiscal year 2024/2025

The Convention will be held at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, on Saturday 15th February 2025 and clubs are invited to submit all or any of the following:

Nominations for District Governor 2025/ 2026

Nominations for Vice District Governor 2025/ 2026

Nominations for 2nd Vice District Governor 2025/ 2026

Resolutions for consideration at Convention

 All Nominations and / or Resolutions must be received by:

Please note that it is the responsibility of the club to ensure that notification of Nominations or Resolutions are received by the Nominations & Resolutions Officer by the due date. You are advised to telephone Lion Phil to verify that your submission has been received.

Please note that Resolutions will only be accepted if accompanied by a copy of the Proposing and Seconding club minutes, detailing the resolution in full and signed by the Club President.

Notification of ALL Club Delegates and Alternates will be required on-line via the following link.

This link is only to be used by the club President or Secretary. If you complete the registration on-line you do NOT need to send in Delegates or Alternates form by Post or Email.

 Registration must be made by Friday 31st January 2025.

Delegates and Alternates should be reminded that they will need to show Photo ID when registering at Convention.

I would also like to remind everyone that our Convention is the annual general meeting of our District. We are constantly looking at ways of making the event more interesting and productive, but we need your attendance and input to achieve this. It is also the main event of the year when Lions come together to socialise, meet old friends and share ideas and we would love to see you all there.
